Portable Take Back Statement Following Police Investigation Into One Million Boys Claim

Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola popularly known as Portable has withdrawn his claim that he helped found the renowned cultist group One Million Boys, a gang that terrorized Lagos.

His apology follows a directive from Force headquarters to look into him for his remark that he played a key role in the creation of the infamous cult. The Lagos State Police Command has been instructed by the Inspector-General of Police, Usman Baba, to look into the singer’s affiliation with the cult organizations One Million Boys and Ajah Boys.

The IGP order reads partly, “Sequel to the trending video of one Habeeb Okikiola aka Portable where he claimed to have formed the One-Million Boys cult group terrorising some parts of Lagos State, the IGP has ordered CP Lagos to investigate the indicting statement and take necessary legal action.”

In his most recent video, Portable claimed he was only referring to his supporters and not to any gang or cult.
